You say
“I said yes to too much again. I’m running on empty, and I don’t even know what to ask You for anymore.”
Dialect helps you grow in conversation with God.
Say a prayer out loud. Say what you sensed in return, the dream that’s already slipping away, the word someone prayed over you this morning. Dialect writes it down in your own words, sets Scripture beside it, and over the weeks and months helps you see how God has been weaving it all together.

Why it exists
Not because it didn’t matter. Because it happened in the car, or at 2 a.m., or in the middle of a Tuesday, and there was no time to sit down and write.
Most prayer journals end up in a drawer. Not because people stop praying, but because writing it all out by hand is slow, and life isn’t. Dialect was made for the moment itself. You talk. It keeps.
The ability to capture those moments right when they happen, without losing the thoughts, details, or revelations that can so easily fade throughout the day has been awesome!

Speak it
No typing, no blank page, no pressure to sound like anyone else. You talk, and it’s written down word for word, right on your phone.
Prayer doesn’t come in one shape, so Dialect doesn’t ask it to. Choose what you’re bringing, and each kind is held the way it deserves.
What you’re asking for, carrying, or thankful for, in the words you’d actually use.
What you sensed Him say in return, kept beside the prayer it answered. Years from now you can still read the whole conversation.
Record it half-awake, before it fades. The details that seem small at dawn are often the ones that matter later.
When someone prays over you, hold up your phone and keep it. No piecing it back together from memory on the drive home.
Pray for someone, then send it to them, so they know exactly how they were carried.
One passage, read slowly through five movements, and kept as a single sitting you can come back to.
Your words stay yours. Nothing is rewritten or polished. If a word was clearly misheard, the app asks before it changes anything. Years of handwritten journals? Take a photo of a page and it becomes an entry too.
With Dialect, I can simply press record and capture my prayers, journal entries, what I sense the Lord speaking to me, a prophetic word someone has shared, or even a dream I want to remember.

Scripture
Under each new entry, Dialect sets a passage chosen for what you said. Not a verse of the day. Not every verse that happens to contain the word tired. A passage that meets the thing underneath.
You say
“I said yes to too much again. I’m running on empty, and I don’t even know what to ask You for anymore.”
Beneath it
He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:29–31 · World English BibleAn example, written for this page.
When you’re wrestling with something, it may also offer a passage that gently pushes back, with a question attached, never a verdict. Someone in fresh grief won’t be handed a verse that corrects them. The point is to keep you anchored in the Word, not only comforted by it.
Every passage is real and cited, and opens where it sits in the chapter, so you can read around it and weigh it for yourself.
Anxiety. Grief. Waiting. Doubt. Forgiveness. Rest, when you’re past tired. Grouped into 16 categories, for the days you don’t know where to begin.
Every command He gave, all 331, each read inside the passage it belongs to, and found by the situation you’re in rather than a word you have to guess.
816 images Scripture uses, each shown across its whole range. When a dream leaves you holding a picture, you can see everywhere the Bible holds it too.
Every verse you keep, from anywhere in the app, in one library, with a gentle way to commit the ones that matter to memory.
I love having a tool that encourages me to go deeper into the Word and consider what I’m experiencing through a biblical lens.

Discernment
When you’re listening for God, in prayer, in a dream, or in a word someone speaks over you, the next question is always the same: was that Him? Dialect gives you a place to hold what you heard while you weigh it.
Everything you record is set beside Scripture. You’ll see the passages that echo it, and when something pulls against what the Bible says, the app shows you that passage too and asks what you make of it. It never rules for you.
You don’t have to weigh it alone. Share a dream or a word with a friend or a small circle you trust, and they can answer with Scripture, with what they sense, or with a prayer. There’s no feed and no audience; every share goes only to people you chose.
Over time, something grows that no app can hand you: your own discernment. Entry by entry, you start to recognize the ways God tends to speak to you, and you hear Him more readily because you’ve been paying attention.
Sometimes, when you’re living day by day, you don’t realize how God is weaving things together. Having a way to look back and see those connections can bring so much clarity and help you recognize things you may not have noticed on your own.

Looking back
One entry at a time, you can’t see the thread. Look back across a month and it’s there: the question underneath your questions, a fear you stopped naming, the prayer you’ve been praying in different words since spring.
Dialect reads back over your own entries and shows you what it finds, tied to the entries behind every line, so you can go and see for yourself. Then it asks you what you make of it.
A short letter about your week, drawn from what you prayed, sensed and dreamed. It ends with a question worth praying over. Write back, and the next one listens.
The long view. The turning points, the growth, the things you only recognize looking back.
Dialect notices the requests in your entries and recognizes when a later entry sounds like the answer. You confirm every one, and the answers you’d have forgotten are kept.
Name a stretch of life, like waiting, rebuilding or a hard year, and see every entry from it together. When a new season starts to echo an old one, you’ll see that too.
Some questions come back for months in different words. Dialect brings them into view with every entry where they surfaced, so you can see how your answer has been growing.
Over time it sketches what it notices about you: strengths, struggles, open questions. You can correct any of it. It never tells you who you are.
It’s a way to look back at where you’ve been, recognize what has been on your heart, and reflect on how God has been moving through different seasons of your life.

Your Lexicon
He has been using a vocabulary with you. An image that keeps coming back. A verse that finds you three times in one month. A place you return to in dreams.
Dialect gathers what keeps returning and hands it back to you to name, in your own words. Over time it becomes a record of how He speaks with you, and you start to recognize it the moment it shows up again.
It’s not a dream dictionary. Water doesn’t have one fixed meaning here, and neither does a door. What something means to you is yours to write, held loosely, and weighed against Scripture and the people who know you.
What the app does is ask. You’ve seen a brick wall in three dreams. Do you feel stuck somewhere? Tied to the entries it came from, and yours to confirm, reword, or set aside.
Where it stops
There’s no sentence in Dialect that begins “God is telling you…” It puts you in front of Him and gets out of the way, so what you come to know, you come to know from Him. It notices, it cites, it asks, and you decide what it means.
It encourages you to listen more, and helps you notice what you hear.
From a beta tester
I can honestly say this app has been such a beautiful and meaningful tool in my walk with the Lord! If you desire to be more intentional in your prayer life, recognize what God may be speaking to you, and document how He is moving in your life, this app is absolutely worth downloading.
One of my favorite things about Dialect is how effortless it is to use. Life gets busy, and sometimes I don’t have time to sit down and write everything out. With Dialect, I can simply press record and capture my prayers, journal entries, what I sense the Lord speaking to me, a prophetic word someone has shared, or even a dream I want to remember. The ability to capture those moments right when they happen, without losing the thoughts, details, or revelations that can so easily fade throughout the day has been awesome!
But my absolute favorite feature is the insight it provides into your prayer life over time. Dialect gives you a snapshot of the themes, patterns, and things the Lord has been highlighting over a week, a month, or an entire season. Sometimes, when you’re living day by day, you don’t realize how God is weaving things together. Having a way to look back and see those connections can bring so much clarity and help you recognize things you may not have noticed on your own.
Another feature I love is how Dialect connects your prayers and reflections with Scripture. It provides biblical references to support your prayers and help you explore what you believe the Lord may be speaking to you. It also offers Scripture related to imagery, which is especially helpful when reflecting on dreams, pictures, or symbolic things that stand out to you. I love having a tool that encourages me to go deeper into the Word and consider what I’m experiencing through a biblical lens.
Personally, this app has helped me uncover more specific details about the season I’m walking through and recognize connections in what I believe the Lord has been showing me. It has given me a beautiful way to reflect, revisit what I’ve recorded, and be more intentional about listening, remembering, and discerning.
I love that Dialect isn’t just a place to record your prayers; it helps you build a record of your journey with the Lord. It’s a way to look back at where you’ve been, recognize what has been on your heart, and reflect on how God has been moving through different seasons of your life.
If you’re someone who prays, journals, dreams, receives prophetic words, or simply wants to grow in intentionality in your relationship with the Lord, I highly recommend giving Dialect a try! It’s simple, practical, and genuinely meaningful. If you’ve ever wished you could remember your prayers, revisit what stood out to you, or recognize patterns in your walk with God that you might otherwise miss, this app is such a valuable tool to have.
I’m so excited about the potential of Dialect and how it can help other people cultivate a deeper, more intentional prayer life.

Privacy
Your recording is turned into words on the phone itself, and the audio is deleted right after. There’s no recording of you praying anywhere, on your phone or off it.
The words are kept securely, sealed to your account, so the app can find Scripture for them and show you what’s been coming up. They’re never used to train AI, never sold, and never used for advertising. There are no ads in Dialect at all.
No feed, no browsing other people’s prayers, no switch left on by accident.
One thing, to people you chose, who accepted your invitation.
Even on an entry you shared, what your Lexicon noticed inside it stays with you.
Export your whole journal whenever you like. Delete your account and what’s in it goes with it. The privacy policy says exactly what that covers.
What it costs
The journal is free, for as long as you like. Your first few entries get everything Premium does, including your first Sunday digest, so you can see what it’s like before you decide anything.
No card, no time limit.
$9.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Free for the first 14 days.
Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play settings. Everything you wrote stays yours either way.
Who it’s for
Whether you pray every morning or you’re trying to find your way back to it. Whether listening prayer and dreams have always been part of your walk, or you’re only beginning to wonder what listening for how God responds could look like.
You don’t have to be good at journaling. You only have to be willing to talk to Him.
Broad historic Christianity. It stays out of the arguments Christians have in-house — with one conviction it won’t hide: God still speaks, and it’s made by someone who believes that.
When Dialect launches, download it, press record, and say what’s on your heart. A year from now, you’ll be able to look back and see the story.
